Beginner Patchwork Course: Make Your First Quilt Block

Hello and welcome!

I know you are going to have fun as we learn together

At the end of this course you will have sewn, by sewing machine, at least one 6 inch patchwork block and be able to calculate what size to cut patches for different sized blocks.

You will be able to use a rotary cutter (safely and accurately) and to use other patchwork tools to make other blocks, and then a quilt when you are ready.

Make Your First Patchwork Block

Step by step, I’ll walk you through the very easy process for making the simplest of all patchwork blocks.

Four Patch is such an easy block to make, is very versatile, and can be used in many combinations to make other blocks. When you learn to make this block, there are only a few techniques to master, which takes away all the frustration that often comes with more complex beginner classes.
