Yesterday I went to the first quilt show I have been to since moving to the country. Rylstone Memorial Hall was filled with (mostly) large quilts in a rainbow of colours.
There were challenge quilts, Japanese themed quilts, starry quilts, traditional quilts, and modern quilts. Ballerina tote bags, felted works, table runners, fabric Christmas decorations, pincushions in many varieties, and more, added to the display.
What a prolific group of quilters.
Many of the quilts were for sale, with proceeds going to a local charity nominated by the quilt’s maker. This is their second quilt show, the first two years ago in 2015.
Bogee Crafters has eight members, two of which are not so active at present, so a quilt show that filled the hall is quite an achievement!
